He was predeceased by: his sisters, Jane McKinney and Edith Reamer; and his wife Jean Bowers (Bowers). He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Cortner and Jesse Donnelly (Trudy); his children, LouAnn Guilles, Charles W. Donnelly Jr. (Roberta) and Dean Donnelly (Karen); his grandchildren, Shannon Marciano (Rich), Fred Guilles (Danielle), Jason Donnelly (Anna), Andrew Donnelly and Katelynn Piper (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Harper Marciano, Bentley Guilles, Landon Conrad, Jameson Thomson Donnelly, Tamen and Amelia Piper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be submitted to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.
