Betty Lou Walters Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Walters (Carlisle, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin "Mike" Chronister and Margaret "Peg" Chronister (Mohler); her son Douglas K. Walters; and her siblings, Percy (late Jane), Norman, Charles "Chuck" (late Barbara), James "Mike" and Nora Hill.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth V. Walters; her children, Ann Sharp (Sam) of Harrisburg, Bryon L. Walters (Karin) of Dillsburg, Ronald K. Walters (Cyndi) of Mechanicsburg and Todd R. Walters (Beth) of Clifton, VA; her sisters, Peggy Wagner (Rick) and Connie Strausbaugh (Earl); her grandchildren, Mathew (Lindsay), Megan (Russell) and Sarah; her great grandchildren, Ben, Claire, Audrey and William; and her sisters-in-law, Berta Chronister and Eleanor "Viki" Chronister.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Hospice for All Seasons Foundation, 280 S. Hill Street, Grantville, PA 17028.
