It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene K. Powers of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Duprey and Lou E. Duprey (Mentzer); her son Nathan R. Powers; and her sisters, Reabie Stine and Connie Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband William R. Powers, Sr.; her children, Holly Powers of Carlisle, William Powers (Mary) of Mechanicsburg and Chris Powers (Dianne) of Carlisle Also; and her siblings, Harry "Butch" Duprey (Penny) of Huntsdale, Gene Mentzer (Nancy) of Newville and Dollie Howe (Skip) of Centerville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ronan Funeral Home (255 York Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
