He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean R Viney; his father David Hritcko; his nephew Deacon Michael Wengrin; his children, Doreen Ruggerio, Michelle Bailleau (Mark), Victoria Wengrin Simpson, Lisa Smith (Lloyd Simpson) and Theodore Wengrin Jr. (Brittany); his siblings, Evelyn, Michael, John, Nicholas, Stephen, Elizabeth Gerek and Dorothy Patuk; and his son-in-law Richard Ruggiero. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and great-grandchild nieces and nephews.
