It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia L. Baldwin (Carbondale, Pennsylvania), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on March 28, 2010, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph J. Baldwin; her parents, Byron J. Ormsby and Vivian Dewey Ormsby Mishowski; and her siblings, Byron Ormsby and Robin Rydell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Arnold (Kenneth C.), Joyce Decker (Carl), Jo Brennan (Patrick), Cheryl Walsh and Kathleen Virbitsky (Alan); her siblings, Richard Ormsby, Ronald Misihowsky (Montdale) and Nancy Hughes of Pompano Beach, FL; her stepsister Frances Thomas; her cousin Sandra Sheare Miller (Sonia); her caregivers, Debbie and Eddie Unis; and her son David John Baldwin. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sonia's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital; the American Heart Association; or the American Cancer Society.
