He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, DeSales Kathryn Rosler Muir and Tropicana Casino; his children, Paul Muir (Alida), Virginia Beach, Fred Castle (Trisha), Doreen Kuttrubis (Simpson) and Scott Twp; and his siblings, Darwin Muir (Lee), Jimmy Muir (Jean), Darlene Domiano (Johnny) of Lake Harbor, N. J. and Bonita Milligan of Lanoka Harbor, N. J.. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors or the Disabled American Veterans.
