He was predeceased by: his wife Cecelia DeLuca; his parents, Harold T. McGovern and Mary Walsh McGovern; and his sister Mary Louise "Molly" Kohn. He is survived by: his children, Jody (William Mabee) of Naples, FL, Cecelia McGovern, Harold McGovern and Paul McGovern (Debra). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
