She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Welles and Beckwith; her stepfather Floyd C. Welles; and her brothers, Thomas Carney (Susie), Lee Carney and David Welles (Betty).
She is survived by: her son Jesse Schaeffer (Crystal) of Jermyn; her brother Carl Welles (Nancy) of Waymart; and her grandsons, Tyler and Jacob Schaeffer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
