It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Cummings of Carbondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann Cummings to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband James F. Cummings; her parents, Joseph P. Livsey and Alice Burns Flood Livsey; and her siblings, Robert Flood, Eugene, William, Joseph Livsey, Margaret Curtis and Mary Purkaple.

She is survived by: her daughter Joann Smith of Breesport, NY; her grandsons, Jonathan and David Smith; her great grandchildren, Theodore and Henry Smith; and her sisters, Dorothy LaQuaglia of Bloomfield, NJ, Mildred Griffin of Englewood, FL and Marion Niffen of Vestal, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
