James J. Henning Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2022, at the age of 92, James J. Henning of Carbondale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Marie Murray; his parents, Henry Henning and Catherine Krell Henning; his grandson Shane Rivenburgh; and his siblings, Howard, Mary, Charles, Donald and Nora.

He is survived by: his children, James F. "Jamie" Henning (Betsy) of Carbondale, PA, William H. Henning of Carbondale, PA, Joseph B. Henning of Carbondale, PA, Maria Knapp (James) of Pleasant Mount, PA and Catherine Rivenburgh of Baldwinsville, NY; his grandchildren, Jamie, Janel, Darcell, Justine, Thomas, Tara, Arianna, Cassidy, Brittany and Rebecca; and his daughters, Mary Russo, Kathleen Rosler-Cuce and Alice Rau. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; three nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions were made in Jim's name to the American Red Cross, Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter, 256 N. Sherman St., Wilkes Barre PA 18702.
