She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Barney; her parents, Walter Agentovich and Elsie Parker Agentovich; and her siblings, Walter, Jr., Robert, Stanley Agentovich and Rosemary Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Barney (Peggy) of Kentucky, Robert Barney of Waymart, PA, Jason Barney of Carbondale, PA, Tanya Fagan of Florida and Stacy Skorets (Robert Arthur) of Carbondale, PA; her grandchildren, Stephan Barney, Kaitlyn Barney, Christopher Skorets, Piper Arthur, Joshua Arthur and Jonathan Barney; her great grandchildren, Makaylee, Kelcie, Maya and Aurora; and her sister Sharon Loewenstein of Peckville, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (89 Farview St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (6 N Church St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valley View Memorial Park (1162 Lakeland Dr, Jermyn, PA 18433).
