He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Turano and Josephine Staskavage Turano; and his siblings, Francis Turano, Michael Turano and Catherine Turano Edwards.

He is survived by: his son Rick Turano (Dorothy Walsh Turano); his grandchildren, Rick (Nicole), Kevin (Lisa Henry), Michael, Annalisa Lepre-Legg and Christina (Dave Goldate); his son Rob Turano (Candy Pettinato Turano); his grandchildren, Dominick (Kristy) and Lexi Garcia (Andrew); his son Tim Turano (Caprice Turano); his grandson Hunter; and his sister JoAnn Turano Corrigan. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
