She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Descoteaux; her parents, John McHugh and Catherine MacKarell McHugh; and her siblings, Patricia Lynady and John McHugh.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Minor (Joseph) and David Descoteaux of Carbondale; her grandchildren, Joseph III, Seth Minor, Justin Brower and Destiny Descoteaux; and her sisters, Kathryn Shaw and Elizabeth Scanlon. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
