It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl E. Brucher of Carbondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Carl departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carl. Though Carl may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Brucher and Esther Koch Brucher. He is survived by: his wife Rose Nemetz Brucher; his sons, Carl Brucher (Shelly) and Alan Brucher (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Carl Scott Brucher, Robert Noone (Allison), Alan Michael Brucher (Claire), Cameron Brucher (Rachel) and Tara Falls. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (89 Farview St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Valley View Memorial Park (1162 Lakeland Dr, Jermyn, PA 18433).
