She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Petak and Mary Cherinchak Petak; her daughter Bernadette Lapera; and her siblings, Joseph, John Petak and Mary Lou Golecki.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Rusnak, JoAnn Rusnak and Maria Shelp (Randy); her grandsons, Randy Shelp Jr. and Steven Shelp (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Steven and Kaeley; and her grandchildren, Bernard and Stephanie Lapera. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
