He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Marie Vadella; his parents, Floyd Peters and Helen Welch Peters; and his siblings, Richard "Butchie", Gerald "Jake", Floyd "Sonny" Peters, Susan Chadwick, Jean Steele, Nancy Moody, Katherine Bradbury and Nicia May Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Hunter (Judy) of Carbondale, PA, Kim Hunter of Carbondale, PA and Jamie Hunter (Tara) of Carbondale, PA; and his siblings, Marcia Stanton of Hawley, PA, Joan Linderman of Woodland Hills, CA, Sandy Peters and Ron Peters of La Quinta, CA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
