He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Mix and Christine Mix (Foster); his siblings, Leota and Raymond; his granddaughter Trish; the mother of his children Barbara; and his wife Shirley Mix.
He is survived by: his close friend Ed Keefer; his daughters, Cathy (Scott Moore) of Canton, Cindy Wheeler of Mainesburg, Carol Deitrick (Jeff) of New Cumberland, PA, Chris Lee (John) of Roaring Branch and Connie Zigman (Bob) of New Cumberland, PA; his grandchildren, Danielle Manahan, Misty Cott (Justin), Scotty Wheeler (Dianah), Raechal Stepp (Derek), Rebecca Deitrick, Heather Dibble, Ronnie Lee, Johnny Lee (Shawna), Dylan Zigman and Morgan Zigman; his stepgrandchildren, Stacia Politsky (Tom), Bill McCarty (Jody) and Patrick McCarty (Chrissy); his brother Dale Mix (Bonny); and his caregiver Mandy.
