He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodman Holmes and Ethel Holmes (Keagle); his wife Donna Smith; his daughter Brenda; his siblings, Janice Dieffenbach (Mike) and Robert Holmes; and his close friends, Lennie Fairchild, Bill "Wimpit" Temple and Jack Lee.
He is survived by: his sons, Norvin "Mooch" Holmes Jr. (Janet) and William "Will" Holmes; his grandchildren, Ty Holmes (Ashley) and Cale Holmes (Avery); his great grandchildren, Wesson, Adelyn and Sawyer; his siblings, Rodman Holmes Jr. (Carol), Kathy Baumunk (Garry) and Richard Smith; his niece Pam Hoffman; and also, Kathy Bradway, Gordy and Trisha Fleming. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins neighbors and dear friends.
