He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howell and Eloise Howell (Wood); his daughter Nancy Greene; and his siblings, Duane Howell and Beverly Barrett.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Clegg; his stepchildren, Duane Clegg (Brenda) and Charlene Fitch (Elwin); his grandchildren, Carrie, Jenny and Jeremy; his stepgrandchildren, Alyson Clegg, Derek Clegg, Laura Taylor (Brett), Lisa Roupp (Tim) and Bryan Fitch (Lindsay); his siblings, Penny Jones, Aletha Bryington and Donnie Howell; and his close friends, George Jennings and Casey Clegg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
