She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edwards and Gwendolyn "Jane" Edwards; her husband Captain Larry W. Bassett; her brother-in-law Norm Alexander; her granddaughter Lindsay Jane Edwards; and her son Ryan Atherton-Ely.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sherri Alexander, Sheila Fitch (Steve) and Shelley Edwards; her children, Jodi Kelley (Christopher), David Atherton-Ely and Tara Vybiral; her grandchildren, Shawn Edwards, Adelyn, Derek, Isabelle Atherton-Ely, Clayton, Ryan Vybiral, Georgia "Reese" Hineman, Steven and Daniel Kelley; her great grandchildren, Darrin Hammaker and Scotty Edwards; her friends, Jeannie Schoonover, Judy Pickel, Barb Perry, Debbie Machmer, Fran Schulz, Jeff Pennachio, Darrin and Korey Morse; and also, Niki Pepper, Stephanie Roth and David Griffin. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
