With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Long (Canton, Pennsylvania), born in Mills, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 22, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Long (Bailey) and Eugene Edward Long; his son Christopher Harold Long; his son-in-law Charles "Butch" Franklin; and his siblings, Robert Long, Janet Bacon and Phyllis Rockwell.
He is survived by: his children, Keith (Kim) of Towanda, Colette Franklin (Powell) of Monroeton and Shannon Coolbaugh of Philadelphia; his stepdaughter Tanya Dunn; his grandsons, Brendon Long (Kathleen), Brad Franklin (Brandi) and Colin Long (Kim); his great grandchildren, Evan Kilmer, Amiah Shoultes, Hannah and Mady Long; his pets, Molly and Newfie; and his close friends, Ed Long, Paul, Mary Dodge and Peggy Savage. He is also survived by step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Memorial Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be directed to The Ulster Animal Shelter or to a charity of choice.
