We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2023, at the age of 89, David Eugene Hertel of Canton, Pennsylvania, born in Ralston, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hertel and Charlotte "Lottie" Hertel; his wife Dorothy Davison Hertel; and his siblings, Francis Hertel Bennett, Vivian Hertel, Jack and Richard Hertel (Louise Ward).
He is survived by: his brother Theodore Hertel; his children, David Mitchell Hertel (Sofia) and Kristi Foote (Phillip); his grandchildren, Tammy (Bob), Jackie (Chris), Joshua (Sonya), Salina, Deanna (Brian) and Daniel (Melinda); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Rachel, Bobby, Mackenzie, David, Siarra (Matt), Tabitha, Ethan and Miles; and his great great grandchildren, Lily and Layla.
