He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Ott and Lydia Ott (Updegrove); his stepson Kenneth Brown; and his siblings, Carl, Cleveland, Samuel, Roger, Marie Ott, Clara Galambos, Lillian Ruth Hemighaus, Rosena Wilde, Sara Hoffman and Elsie Battaglia.
He is survived by: his brother Gabriel Ott (Susie); his daughter Christine Kertis (Albert); his grandchildren, Kimberly Uber (Matt), Jennifer Isett (Brian) and AJ Kertis (Erica); and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Michael, Lily, Mia, Josh Uber, Natalie, Carter, Megan Isett, Connor and Logan Kertis.
