He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Phillips and Florence Spanogle Phillips; his son Chad O. "Philly" Phillips; and his brother Warren Keith Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bernardi; his children, William M. Phillips of Hotchkiss, Brad L. Phillips (Lori) and Karie L. VanWie of Cecil Twp; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Evan Phillips, Olivia and Luke VanWie; and his sister Carol White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
