It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Burke (Canonsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph and Viola Bell Burke; her siblings, Peg and Bill; and her nephews, Jim and John Burke.

She is survived by:, Peggy Tilton (Dennis), Nancy Newman (Doug), Judy Burke (Jim) and Ruth Ann.

“It was in 1972 that Miss Burke introduced me to the world of golf by taking a few of us girls out on the golf course. Even though I was not naturally athletic, she showed us to believe in ourselves , and to enjoy a sport that I could participate in. I am turning 70 this year and I still enjoy the game.
