He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Leis and Alberta Leis (Ragase); and his wife Maureen Leis (Simms). He is survived by: his children, Eric Leis of McMurray and Erin Athey (Michael) of Dormont; his sister Barbara Leis of Warren, Ohio; his cousin Lorraine Walters; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Jordan (Kathy Wylie) and George "Larry" Simms (Piera). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
