He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Rankin and Park Young Rankin. He is survived by: his spouse Jan Rankin; his sons, David Rankin (Kristyna) and Sean Rankin (Elizabeth); his granddaughter Helena Claire Rankin; and his sisters, Mary Jo Bethem (Dan) and Carole Richardson (Ron). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
