Michael Balaschak Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2024, at the age of 73, Michael Balaschak (Canonsburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Balaschak and Veronica Rupsis Balaschak; and his siblings, Paulette Borkowski (Paul), Gerri Tamino (Glenn) and James Martin (Margie).
He is survived by: his sisters, Bernadette McDowell (Chuck) and MaryAnn Hetherington (Jim); his wife Phyllis Shaffer Balaschak; his children, Shawn Balaschak (Michelle) and Danyelle Brulia (Andrew); his grandchildren, Kristen Nordeen (Michael), Katelyn Garces (Jonathan), Julia, Tobias, Ellianna and Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Winnie, Eleanor and Zoey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peters Township Funeral Home (2828 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
