He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McGarry and Rebecca McGarry; his former wife Rose Spadaro McGarry; and his nephew Louis Spadaro. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Joe; his cousins, Ross, Ernie, Ed and Jeff (Sam); his siblings-in-law, Joseph and Kathleen Vitullo (Werner); his nephew Timothy Vitullo (Courtney O'Connell); his niece Nicole Gaetano (Anthony); his great-nephew Lorenzo; his cousins, James Campbell (Mary Tracy) and Beth Atkinson (Harry); his stepgrandsons, Lucas and Landon Strimel; his nephew Michael Spadaro (Jennifer); his great-niece Meranda Spadaro (Michael Hitzges); and his great-nephews, Julian and Dominick Spadaro.
In lieu of flowers or blankets, donations are requested to Slippery Rock University where a Scholarship in memory of Joe will be established.
