She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Bergner and Blanche Bergner (Fieseler); her brother Fred Bergner; and her grandson Evan Gallen. She is survived by: her husband Donald Turka; her sister Theresa Bowman (Mike); her sister-in-law Donna Bergner (Hrin); her children, Jason Turka (Jessica), Julie Kurtz (Neil) and Christie Gallen (Matthew); and her grandchildren, Elise, Abigail, Connor, Charlotte and Ryder. She is also survived by her family, friends.
