James left this world on January 6, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alderson and Margaret Alderson; and his sisters, Barbara Kushner and Joyce Kirkwood. He is survived by: his son James Michael (Virginia); his stepchildren, Gregory Justice and Kimberly Conley (Brian); and his grandchildren, Lauren, Jimmy Alderson and Grayson Conley.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henney, Bradwell & Nirella Funeral Home (524 Washington Ave, Carnegie, PA 15106). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
