She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ciaffoni and Concetta Quarture Ciaffoni; and her siblings, Orando "Lundo" Ciaffoni, Dorothy Ciaffoni, Margaret "Maggie" Ciaffoni Sociero, Robert "Bobby" Ciaffoni, Pauline Ciaffoni Myers, Lorraine Ciaffoni Erickson and Johnny Ciaffoni.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Cowden; her sister Virginia Ciaffoni Messa (late Joseph L. Messa Sr.); her nephews, Joseph L. Messa Jr. and Paul E. Messa; and her pet Rusty.
