He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dennis Fonte and Clara Mae Steubenbordt Fonte; his wife Margaret Parnell; his son Dennis M. Fonte of North Carolina; and his siblings, Nancy Cushey (Richard) and Craig Fonte (Linda).

In lieu off flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Friendship Village Team Members.
