Betty Lou Durante Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 87, Betty Lou Durante of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Zemaitis and Helen Zapotosky Zemaitis; her husband Joseph Durante; her brother Raymond Zemaitis; and her grandson Brian Gilpin.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Abbondanza (Noemi Mercado) of Va, Raquel Gilpin of Canonsburg and Cherisse Ann Sachs of Washington; her grandchildren, Chad Sachs (Lacey), Isabella "Izzy" Abbondanza, Sarra Gilpin, Aaron Gilpin (Brooke) and Aaliyan Gilpin; her great grandchildren, Noah, Raiden, Elena Gilpin, JJ Wright, Bailey Ealy, Hadley Debolt and Kenzley Wright; her sister-in-law Barbara Gieraltowski; her niece Cindy Kampets; and her nephew Mark Zemaitis.
Her family requested that any donations be given to the Alzheimer Association, in Betty's name.
