With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Clair Bender of Canadensis, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 23, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley G. Bender and Hilda Bender (Lee); and his sister Joyce R. Powell. He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Bender of Mount Pocono, Cindy Papile of Mt. Pocono and Kathi Smallacombe (Dale) of Paradise Valley; his grandchildren, Melissa Smallacombe, Michael Papile, Brianna Walsh and Lindsey Levin; and his caregiver Andrew Powell (Margaret). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; his nephew.
