With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne W. Gettys of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Yvonne W. Gettys to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Prowell, and Mabel Prowell, Jr. (Comp); her husband Fred A. Gettys; her son-in-law Stephen Johansen, Sr.; her in-laws, Glenn D. and Margaret A. Gettys (Zeigler); and her brother-in-law George Eichelberger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Krista Yvonne Johansen of Mechanicsburg, Lisa Ann Sheaffer (Leroy, Jr.) of Lewisberry and Jana Lynn Siegel (Adam) of Leesburg, VA; her sister Shirley Sucic (Tom) of New Cumberland; her sister-in-law Evalene Eichelberger of Messiah Lifeways; her grandchildren, Stephen, Jr. Johansen (Dominique), Lauren Campbell (Nathan), Michael Johansen (Stephanie), Jamie Esser (John), Valerie Sheaffer, Brett Siegel, Corryn Leuz (Seth) and Mark Siegel; and her great grandchildren, Demetria, Logan, Nicholas and Sophia.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (1610 Carlisle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Rolling Green Cemetery (1811 Carlisle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011).
