We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2022, at the age of 77, Russell E. Carnes of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Russell Carnes, Jr.; his siblings, Dorothy Ann Koons, William Carnes, Theodore Carnes, Jr., Ida Carnes, Beth Ann Carnes and Dana Hinkle; and his nephews, Christopher Hoch and Albert Belton.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Carnes (Waltz); his daughter Allyson Wagner (Mark) of Dillsburg; his siblings, Kathy Sviben of Middletown and Milton Carnes (Trish) of Steelton; and his granddaughter Emily Lynn Wagner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
