He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCoy and Portia McCoy (Geyer). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" McCoy; his children, Katie Dean (Tom Dean), Matt McCoy (Archana Dittakavi), Andy McCoy, Meaghan Johnson (Dan Johnson), Casey McCoy and Danny McCoy; his grandchildren, Ethan Dean, Emma Dean, Vishal McCoy and Josie Johnson; and his sister Kristy Elliott.
