He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Dickert Caton and Harry Burdge Caton of Suffolk, Virginia.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia H Caton; his children, Rebecca Hayden of Walterboro and Randall Caton, Jr. (Jennifer) of Mechanicsburg; his grandchildren, Caroline Carter (Cole), Lucas Hayden (Miranda), Kayla Needham (Joel) of Walterboro, Jared Caton (Rafalene) of Pittsburgh and Andrew (Erin Caton); his brother James Caton (Sally) of Bath; his siblings-in-law, Judy Jones (Mel) of Charlotte, N. C., Jim Hill (Paige) of Suffolk and Bill Hill (Thelma) of Morehead City, N. C.; and his close friend Michael Carter of Ridgeville, S. C.. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
