She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Lee Snavely; her parents, John Bruce Hoy and Ailene Williams Hoy; and her siblings, Patricia Hoy Steinberg, John Bruce Hoy Jr. and Barbara Ailene Jacobs.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Ailene Snavely (Jonathan Emig) and Scott Lyman Snavely (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Caitlin Ailene Snavely Budden (Joshua), Rebecca Sarah Ann Sholly (Joshua) and Bryan Christopher Lee Roemer; her great grandchild Adelaide Jeanne Sholly; and her siblings, Donna Hoy Batschelet and Jerry Lynn Hoy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
