She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Bauke and Charlotte Bauke; her husband Jack D. Smawley; and her siblings, Gisela Bauke and Dietrich Bauke.
She is survived by: her brother Walter Bauke; and her daughters, Barbara M. Ostendorf and Susan E. Smawley Maddocks. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (2000 Chestnut St, Camp Hill, PA 17011). A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (2000 Chestnut St, Camp Hill, PA 17011).
