He was predeceased by: his parents, John Winkelbauer and Marion Kennedy Winkelbauer; his wife Bernadette M. Matusik Winkelbauer; his son Joshua Winkelbauer; and his siblings, Mary Winkelbauer, David Winkelbauer, Richard Winkelbauer and Ruth Cypher.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Szanyi (Steve) and Philip Winkelbauer; and his siblings, James Winkelbauer, Paul Winkelbauer, Annie Studt, Howard Winkelbauer, Daniel Winkelbauer and Rose Harding. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and very close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (105 Walnut St, Waterford, PA 16441). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church (128 Sunset Dr, Edinboro, PA 16412).
