He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Shaffer and Maurice Shaffer; his wife Agnes Grace Eldred; his son Jimmy; and his grandson Christopher.
He is survived by: his children, Grace Szwarc (John), Audrey Daniluk (Joseph), Eugene Shaffer (Linda) and Donald Shaffer (Terry). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Cambridge Springs American Legion.
