She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Slater and Jane Hattie Caldwell Swanson; and her husband Thomas Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah McGrath (William) of Wake Forest, NC and Jane Sutter (Dale) of Cambridge Springs; and her grandchildren, Gwen Moreland (George), Dale Sutter, Jr., Clinton Sutter, Jack Klemm (Jill) and Charlene Hanson (Brian). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
