He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Metzler and Wanda Adams Metzler; his daughter Stephanie; and his half-sister Shirley Stablein. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Dopierala; his children, Denise Stanford (Jesse) of Cambridge Springs and Derek Metzler (Julie) of Cambridge Springs; his grandchildren, Samantha Stanford, Reese Stanford and Ali Metzler; his sister Linda Smith of Girard; and his cousin Skip Keller.
