He was predeceased by: his parents, Abbey Fischer and Josephine Fischer; his daughter Emilia Jean Fischer; and his sister Madeline Hendershot. He is survived by: his significant other Bonnie Jean Fischer (Deitz); his son Warren James Fischer, Jr.; and his sister Carolyn Nepa of Florida.

His wishes were to have memorial contributions sent to the church's Bible Assembly, 48 Muddy Creek Forks Road, Brogue, PA 17309.
