With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter G. McDermott of California, Pennsylvania, born in Beaver, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McDermott and Marion Josephine McDermott (Gryczynska); and his siblings, Jack McDermott and Tootie Lombardi. He is survived by: his wife Judith McDermott (Marshall) of Beaver, PA; his children, Kellie Lewis (Robert) of Minot, ND and Kent McDermott; and his grandchildren, Hannah Dailey (Cody), DeLaney McDermott, Noah McDermott, Luke McDermott and Mia McDermott.
Walt served as President of the Heritage Foundation and as a councilman serving for the Borough of Beaver.
