He was predeceased by: his parents, Theofilia Zies and William Zies; his brothers, William and Richard Zies; and his nephew Darrell Zies.
He is survived by: his wife Angela; and his children, Megan Tendler (Jefferson), Gabe, Emerson, Kristi Zies, Scarlett and Patrick.
