He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sr. Rickards and Theresa Rickards (Ament). He is survived by: his wife Betty Rickards; and his children, Greg Rickards (Jennifer), Theresa Yurigan (Paul), Catherine Haus and Steven Rickards (Denisse). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center or Shriners Hospital for Children.
