Wertz Jr. of California, Pennsylvania, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amanda (Strausbaugh) and Luther L. Wertz, Sr.; and his grandson Kyle Wertz. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis N. Meldrum Wertz (Brillhart); his children, Edward T. (Donna Wertz) of Danielsville, PA and LuAnn S. Wertz of West Chester; and his sisters, Delores Bassett of Somerset, PA and Constance Snyder of Dover. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Due to the current Coronavirus situation, a private Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held and burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery with military honors presented by York County Veterans Honor Guard.
